A Warrior’s Odyssey is the composer’s first artist’s album, and was designed from the beginning to have a meaningful purpose. Reconnecting with her NC contacts after the album’s release, Kouneva found a connection to Hope For The Warriors®.  “Thinking about the bravery and sacrifice of our men and women in uniform,” says Kouneva, “is what inspired me so deeply while composing tracks like A Soldier's Odyssey, Flowers at a Monument, and Pilot Bombardier. Being able to help support Hope For The Warriors® is my way of sincerely honoring the real-life warriors who have devoted their lives to protect our freedom. Helping to alleviate their struggle on the path to recovery, even in a small way, makes my work meaningful.” Currently, Kouneva is music-arranging the hit network television show, Revenge. Her games credits include Gears of War, Prince of Persia - The Forgotten Sands, and Transformers - Revenge of the Fallen. Along with her monetary contribution from album sales, Kouneva is providing Wounded Warriors Battalion East with CDs as gifts for the soldiers that will enjoy the soon-to-be-opened Hope and Care Center™ at Camp Lejeune.
